Artist's Bio
Nate Hawks is a Wildlife artist whose work is based on his life long love of viewing and interacting with a wide variety of wildlife. A Utah native, Nate draws inspiration from his stunning surroundings and personal history working in zoos, aquariums and museums working with wildlife.
With a rich background in illustration and design prior to dedicating himself to painting wildlife, Nate has collaborated with an array of incredible clients. His illustration and exhibit design portfolio showcases work for notable names such as the Georgia Aquarium, The Boston Globe, Meateater inc., and The Living Planet Aquarium.
In addition to his painting, Nate shares his passion and knowledge as a design instructor at the university level and previously served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Springville Museum of Art. Outside of his professional pursuits, Nate enjoys spending quality time with his family and tending to his small herd of tortoises.
